Read
more... April
20, 1999: A date forever burned into the memory
of the nation, as we all watched
in horror as fifteen body bags were carried out of
Columbine High School in Littleton, Colorado. Combining
interviews with teenagers from across the United
States with survivor testimonies and police transcripts,
columbinus explores the complex world of adolescents
and their disconnect from the adults around them.
This groundbreaking work goes beyond blaming the
media and society to dig at the root of the pain:
the basic, sometimes desperate need for healthy human
interaction.
As
stark as it is compelling, as dark as it is
hopeful, columbinus will send you
home with a new understanding of the pressure,
pain and persecution
felt so deeply in so many teen lives today. Come
ready to be moved; Leave ready to make a lasting,
positive difference in the lives of those you love. |

American
Family
USTP's
second project will explore the chemistry and mystery
of "family" through the eyes of eight diverse
families from radically different parts of the country
as
they each deal with a personal loss. The project
examines the chemistry and identity of a modern
family unit, intergenerational separation, and
how tragedy is often the tie that binds. Writers will
live with actual families across the country during
the development of the project. If you are interested
in finding out more about USTP, getting involved
with American Family, or contributing to the development
of futures projects, e-mail the company. |
